Room was very comfortable, although on our first night the air-conditioning didn't work properly. On subsequent nights we turned it off. We had dinner on the first night of our stay which was excellent - good sized portions and well cooked. However, the menu appeared to be limited in choice and standard throughout our stay, and we therefore ate out on other nights. The breakfast was substantial and appetising. The location in Stratford-upon-Avon could not have been better. When we arrived to check-in, the reception wasn't staffed but a young lady who apparently works in the dining room came to assist and she was very helpful. We saw her the next morning in the breakfast room and subsequently she turned up serving in the bar - she was always cheerful and engaging with the guests. Unfortunately, I have forgotten her name but she was a credit to your hotel.

The location of the hotel was excellent, walking distance for all the sights and nice not to drive and have to find a car park. The breakfast was fabulous. The cooked breakfast kept us going all day, they were delicious and you could help yourself to anything else that was available. Usually finish off with another cup of tea and croissant. The hotel staff were amazing from reception, bar (Oscar) helping us with a walking route and in the restaurant. All very polite and friendly. The restaurant staff being extremely busy, kept their cool and smiled all the time.

The hotel is beautiful in the Tudor style with the original beams inside and the dark oak wood on staircases. Lovely. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable . We booked for a breakfast which was very nice. The location was walking distance to the town, less than 5 minutes walk to the shops and market and only a stones throw to the river which has a beautiful park along side.

Marion

Really local to Stratford town centre. lovely to have a morning swim in the pool before heading off to do some activities. we had room service dinner one night which was really nice. Bed was very comfy - although you get lost in it as it was so big! loved the new sparkling and still water taps outside the rooms for filling up water bottles - really lovely idea.

Beatrice

The Hotel is beautiful and our room was lovely. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Breakfast was also really nice with continental and hot breakfast available. It was also good that even though we had checked out we were still able to go in to have a drink later in the day before we left. Very happy and will definitely be booking to stay again.
