Beautiful hotel by the river, very close to Stratford town centre. Lovely staff, always friendly and well-presented, always willing to help and make you feel like a valued guest. The Deluxe Double we stayed in was very nice. Complimentary tea and coffee (Nespresso machine and pods), very comfy bed, nice bathroom with a powerful shower. We stayed in a chilly March and the room and bathroom were always toasty warm. The room was clean and well-presented. On-site spa was nice, a small pool with steam room and sauna at the poolside. We didn't spend much time there and can imagine it would feel crowded at busy times but it was nice for a quick dip and included with the room cost. Connected to the main building too so you could walk from your room in the provided gowns straight to the spa facilities. The restaurant was excellent. Beautiful dining room, attentive staff, lovely atmosphere. The food was top-tier; my cod loin and my partner's pork belly were delicious. It was her birthday and the staff brought out a special, complimentary dessert for her with a candle and wished her happy birthday, which was lovely and very appreciated. Prices are reasonable too for the quality of the food. Overall and excellent hotel with great staff, a lovely restaurant and nice room. Perfect for our short stay in Stratford.

We had a lovely stay for our minimoon and were able to get an upgrade to a 4 poster with hotel's upgrade system- they send you a message a few days before and you can request an upgrade then find if you've got it on the day you arrive. Our bed was really comfortable! A very interesting old building and the bar and lounge were relaxing areas. Good food the one night we had dinner and a good choice of breakfast. The staff were all also very friendly and helpful. The place needs a little tlc in a few places (carpets) but it has 150 and is an old building so this adds to the character.

Great Hotel, the room came with a living room as well...it could do with a refurbishment and the four poster was very squeaky.. I was very old room in the original Manor so the floors leaned with I love, although the lean in the bathroom floor and slippery floor tile are something they need to look at asap... if my partner had not caught me coming out of the shower then we would have been talking head injury as o would have smashed my head against the sink or the side of the bath.. we would definitely book again though, great staff location and value...

Lovely hotel. Great location for everything. Comfortable room. Was a bit concerned after reading some negative reviews about dated rooms etc. it’s a period property. Of course they’re dated. Yes the tv didn’t have Netflix. Who cares. Not there for that. We had a wonderful room. Our dinner from the set menu on Valentine’s Day was absolutely without fault. We had a lovely swim in the hotel pool. Staff were all very friendly.

The hotel is beautiful in the Tudor style with the original beams inside and the dark oak wood on staircases. Lovely. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable . We booked for a breakfast which was very nice. The location was walking distance to the town, less than 5 minutes walk to the shops and market and only a stones throw to the river which has a beautiful park along side.
